What is Beneficial Ownership Information Report (BOIR)?

As of January 1, 2024, the bipartisan Corporate Transparency Act, requires most companies doing business in the United States to file a report with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) about the individuals who ultimately own and control such companies


Companies that are required to comply must file their initial reports by the following deadlines:
